Why Plant Trees

So that we will become a more cultured community and be more aware of the importance of trees in our life.

AIR

Through the tree planting activities, it will not only stabilise the temperature but also will provide a cooling and soothing environment as well as reducing global warming by absorbing the carbon dioxide.

WATER

Trees can also act as natural filters for the environment. The roots can help filter rainwater and prevent soil erosion. Therefore, they help in maintaining clean water sources and reduce the risk of flooding.

SOIL

Tree planting activities will make the soil healthier and more complex. This also functions as a proponent to maintain a better ecosystem and can ensure that the soil components such as organic matter, minerals, and micro-organism (microbe) communities more stable.

CLIMATE

Trees act as absorbers of excess carbon dioxide in the air. By planting trees, they can help reduce the greenhouse effects and climate change thus, cleaning the air of excess carbon dioxide which can be a health hazard.

BIODIVERSITY

Tree planting helps to reduce the loss of tree species and therefore, increases the continuity of habitats in the natural ecosystems.
